Phonak Hearing Aids
Phonak, a global pioneer in hearing aid technology, operates in over 100 countries and boasts a 70-year history of innovation. The Swiss company is renowned for its high-quality hearing aids and a wide range of automated sound processing algorithms designed to promote a natural listening environment.
Phonak has helped pioneer the most innovative hearing technologies globally. In 1950 the company launched its first transportable hearing aid and, in 1978, the then most powerful behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing system. In 1994, Phonak released AudioZoom, the groundbreaking multi-directional microphone technology that enhances comprehension in background noise. Phonak revolutionized the hearing aid experience with this technology. And Claro, the company's first full-digital hearing aid with innovative signal processing technology, was introduced in 1999.
The Paradise uses the latest PRISM (Processing Real-time Intelligent Sound Management) chip from Phonak, which doubles previous memory and introduces even more options for connectivity. Users can now switch from watching a show to answering the phone, for example, using up to 8 pairings to Bluetooth-enabled devices if necessary. They can also quickly double-tap on the hearing aid to accept a call, which means they don't have to deal with the hassle of switching from one connection to another.
The updated AutoSense OS 4.0 is an operating system designed to remove the need for manual adjustments and allow automatic detection, adjustment, and adaptation to a wide range of hearing environments.
Paradise features also include Speech Enhancer, Dynamic Noise Cancelation, and its stand-out Motion Sensor Hearing technology that enables the hearing aid to make microphone changes as the user walks and talks.
Hearing Technology from Phonak
AutoSense OS 4.0, developed with artificial intelligence (AI), is Phonak's automated operating system that powers the company’s latest hearing aids. AutoSense OS hearing aids understand and instantly respond to more of the listening conditions than ever before. To provide a seamless listening experience, AutoSense OS accurately records and analyzes the sound environment, then precisely combines feature elements from several real-time programs.
Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries
Phonak has released several models that have boasted a battery performance of up to 24 hours on a single charge. That is more than enough for the needs of most hearing aid users.
It can be challenging to understand someone speaking quietly or from a distance in a quiet environment. Speech Enhancer enhances soft-level speech so that you can continue to enjoy conversations with peers, colleagues, and loved ones.
Dynamic noise cancelation
A spatial noise cancelation function that works to improve the signal-to-noise ratio under challenging circumstances using a directional beamformer.
